Description
Coral reef at low tide on the Red Sea in Sharm el-Sheikh. My first visit to Egypt was best remembered by the sea and its inconsistency, daily tides. The sculpture depicts a coral reef when it is slightly covered with water, shells, graphite sea urchins, volcano-like corals, and small green crustaceans that can be seen from under the water.
